Q: How do I find what I'm looking for?

A: In order to find a particular product type e.g. boots, simply type in this word in the search engine box located on the top right hand side of each page. The search engine will bring up that particular product. You can also browse through our range of products using the categories at the top of the page.

Q: How do I add a product to my basket?

A: To add a product to your basket, simply click the "Add to Basket" button located below the description of the item. This will automatically add the product to your basket.

Q: How can I see what's in my shopping bag?

A: You can view the contents of your basket at any time by clicking on the "Shopping Bag" link located at the top of the page.

Q: How do I remove an item from my basket?

A: If you have added a product to your shopping bag and no longer wish to purchase it - simply access your shoppnig bag and click the "X" button next to the item you do not wish to purchase. This will automatically delete this product from your bag. 

If you wish to empty your shopping bag from all items, click on the "Remove All" text

Q: Do prices include VAT?

A: All prices on our website are in Euro and inclusive of VAT @21%.

Q: How can I pay for my order?

A: Shoe Rack accept Visa, Mastercard, Laser and American Express cards. All prices are displayed and charged in Euro. 

Q: Do I need to be a registered customer to purchase on the website?

A: To make purchases from our Online Store, you will be required to register and provide your personal details such as your name, address, phone numbers, email address and any other information that may be required to successfully complete the order.

Q: Why is there an option to enter a voucher in your checkout?

A: Occasionally we will issue a special offer voucher code which you can use in our online store by entering it in the voucher section of the checkout.

Delivery & Returns

Q: What is the delivery fee?

A: Our delivery prices are as follows: €5.00 to the Republic of Ireland €7.50 to Northern Ireland €10.00 to the United Kingdom

Q: How quickly will I receive my order?

A: Within the island of Ireland: within 3 days.

Where possible we will try to adhere to or even to better lead times. In the unlikely event that we cannot fulfil your order in the time frame promised, we will contact you immediately to inform you of the delay. 

Q: Can I return a product?

A: We hope you are delighted with your purchases and that the goods meet with your requirements. If for any reason you are unhappy you may return the goods to us in accordance with our return policy.

If after receiving the goods you decide you do not want them you have 14 days from delivery date to return them to us for a refund. All goods returned must be unworn and repacked in the original box with labels attached. Shoes must not be damaged or worn outside and no scuffing should appear on the sole. (It is advisable to try on shoes on carpeted area to avoid any damage to the sole) A copy of the receipt of purchase must also be included for a refund to be processed.

Return the goods to us by post using the removable pre-printed address label on the invoice and the security buy online Shoe Rack label supplied with the products. The return postage charge must be paid by the customer and this will not be refunded by the company unless the item is faulty. It is advisable that you insure the return parcel so it will be traceable as we will not be responsible for goods lost in the post. 

The goods may also be returned to any of our stand alone Shoe Rack branches (click here for store locations) throughout Ireland. However we cannot accept returns in any of our concession stores. A refund can be made if returned to a store within 10 days of delivery, and only to the originally credit/bank card used for the online item purchase, excluding any postage charges incurred by us. It will be necessary to have the invoice/sales order issued with the goods to process a refund which we will complete after we inspect the returned item in the store. If you like we can offer you a gift voucher for the amount that can be used in any of our stand alone stores. 

If a product is defective in any way, please return it immediately and we will either deliver a new one to you or refund you the cost of the product and original delivery cost. Any breakages or damages must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery.

Q: How do I change or cancel an order?

A: You can change or cancel an order as long as it hasn't been dispatched. 

If the order has been dispatched, you can return the goods to us and we will organise a refund (excluding delivery cost). To cancel an order you must contact our helpdesk on  +353 1 8081719 or email [email protected] and quote your order reference number which you will find on your confirmation email.

A: Yes. All information given to Shoe Rack  will be used only by Shoe Rack and their partners. We will not sell your information to anyone else and all information is encrypted on our secure server to prevent any unauthorised persons gaining access.

A: Shoe Rack uses the latest technology to ensure that your details remain private and secure. All information is encrypted and credit card details are secured under two levels of security layers called Firewalls.

The following are the terms and conditions for use of Shoe Rack's website or any Internet site to which the website is linked (the “website”). This website is for use by persons who are 18 years and over only.

You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account which is provided to you by Shoe Rack who host the transactional element of the website. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or any other breach of security.

We do not hold any personal data. Instead, personal data is stored on a remote secure server and used and is the full responsibility of Shoe Rack who host the website. If you have any questions concerning website privacy and data use, we suggest that you refer to Shoe Rack.

We will endeavour to deliver the products to you within the lead-time shown for each product at the time of purchase where this is practical. However, products are subject to availability and delays may sometimes occur that are outside of our control. Any dates specified for delivery are therefore approximate only. At the time of delivery you will be required to sign-off on the delivery of the products, after which time the products become your sole responsibility.

You have a statutory right to a 14 day cooling-off period when purchasing online (excluding customised or perishable goods). You have a right to cancel the contract within a minimum of 7 working days without giving any reason and without penalty, except the cost of returning the goods.

Product Colours

We make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on our website. However as the actual colours that you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.

Product Sizes

All shoe sizes and measurements are in continental sizes and are as accurate as possible.

Heel Heights

The measurements for the shoe heel height are taken from the inside of the heel and are only an approximate guide to the size.
